welcome to tamago site. i made this because i wanted another hobby, and to yap unabashed. now, this serves as a personal project of sorts that will never end.

all the things i liked doing in social media are now here, in a single place. what you see is what you get--if you're interested, you may check out the directory.

meet my tamanotchi, kopiko, who guards this egg site.

do not steal my code nor reskin my theme, please. i handcoded majority of this website, save for the javascript parts-- i will share their sources in the credits section, rightfully credited.

written works in any shape or form, not limited to shrines and longform blog entries, are all written by me. copying at any length is prohibited. thank you for understanding.

i am sirin or swan (they/them), and i do many things. with all the egg-themed things going around, how i like my eggs in the morning is fried, with crispy edges, and a broken yolk.

most likely an angel. or probably an entity made out of seafoam. or remnants of a dead mountain struck by meteorites millennia ago. probably made of ones and zeroes, sonnets, church bells, wires, joints, or nocturnes. the possibilities are endless.

• the site name is tamago because it was the first word that came into my mind. who would've thought it made for good wordplay?

i believe that something can be pretty and functional all at the same time. here are the features that i've done so far to make that happen:

• media queries to make the website responsive & navigable through varied resolutions, up to 200% zoom
• colour contrasts
• alt text on important images (tamalbum pictures not included)
• no justified align on text
• navigable with keys
• semantic html
• font size set to rem instead of px
• skip to content (press tab key then enter)

it's a work in progress, all of which are placed in my to do list. i will be making changes when necessary.

this one annoys me, because all the shit i've seen so far about prefers-color-scheme only says about the user's system preferences, and attuning to that. but there is no toggle that can grab this media query. would take me a while before i actually implement this.
