other remarks

all-american rejects' album gave me big mcr vibes. and listening to minutes to midnight made me realise how many of these were songs i already encountered when i was younger; they unlocked a core memory haha. valentine's day & in pieces are very akademiya!haikaveh fallout-coded HEHEHE

the headbang material to flyleaf is enough to break my skull. especially in the first song when lacey sturm (the vocalist) made a crisp metal scream--goosebumps!! i love the religious motifs & lyricism throughout the album too!

one thing that i liked when listening to おくりもの is the seemingly seamlessness between tracks. if i could characterise the vibes, it would be summer. loved the way the guitar played.

looking forward to march. i want to listen to more rock adjacents - more psychedelic rock, alt rock, head back to metal idk, the works. my friend already shared a song some days ago and i listened to some tracks so far. the first few tracks are great!
